To explore strategies that allow Education Support Staff to effectively and efficiently work with students with EAL.
Students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) often have specific educational needs. Education Support Staff are faced with the challenge of providing assistance to them while completing the class work or modifying activities for these students. This session will emphasise the importance of understanding the prior-educational experiences of these students and will present practical ideas and evidence-based tools to help assist these students.
